About Muktinath:
Muktinath is a Vishnu temple, sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists. It is located in Muktinath Valley at the foot of the Thorong La mountain pass in Mustang, Nepal. It is one of the world’s highest temples (altitude 3,800 m). Within Hinduism, it is known as Mukti Kshetra, which literally means the ‘place of liberation’ (moksh) and is one of the Char Dham in Nepal.

Char Dham, Nepal. This temple is considered to be 106th among the available 108 Divya Desam (premium temples) considered sacred by the Sri Vaishnava sect. Its ancient name in Sri Vaishnava literature is Thiru Saligramam. The Gandaki river near by is considered the only source of the Saligram shila, considered to be the naturally available form of Sriman.

Buddhists call it Chumig Gyatsa, which in Tibetan means “Hundred Waters”. For Tibetan Buddhists, Muktinath is an important place of dakinis, goddesses known as Sky Dancers, and one of the 24 Tantric places. They understand the murti to be a manifestation of Avalokiteśvara, who embodies the compassion of all Buddhas. The site is close to the village of Ranipauwa, which is sometimes mistakenly called Muktinath.

Arrive at Kathmandu.;

Upon arrival, you will meet our representative & transfer to the hotel. At around 3:00 pm, you will meet the Road Captain, who will introduce you to the Royal Enfield Motorcycles. Then, you’ll be briefed about Off-road motorcycle tours in Nepal and riding safely in Nepal. After the briefing ride around the city to get familiar with the motorcycles. At around 6:00 pm, you’ll be taken to Bhojan Griha, a typical Nepali Restaurant. It is in a historical building, which was built around 100 years ago. At the eatery, you’ll have the option to either sit at the tables or to go for Nepali style floor sitting, and have your meal. Folk dance program is arranged. After the dinner, you’ll be driven to the hotel.

Ride from Kathmandu to Pokhara. (147 km)

After breakfast, start our Off-road motorcycle tours in Nepal. You will dodge the traffic out of the valley, just past Thankot. From here, the road twists and turns as you descend to Naubise. Then, the road becomes much wider. You will continue the ride till Mugling, the junction where the highway bifurcates Chitwan and Pokhara. Head west crossing the bridge, and follow the Marshyangdi River riding  2 hours to reach the wonderful city of Pokhara. Pokhara is an ideal vacationer’s paradise. Upon arrival at Pokhara, you will check in to the hotel, and after resting for a while, you will proceed for a sightseeing tour.

Ride from Pokhara to Tatopani.

On this day you will leave Pokhara and ride towards Beni (70 km). This section of the ride provides fantastic vistas of amazing mountains, picturesque terraced farmlands, and an opportunity to walk on one of Nepal’s famous suspension bridges. Unpaved, graveled rough road poses a real challenge for riders, and more difficult are the occasional river crossings. You will need to acclimatize gradually with the surrounding. Ride from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

This day is last day ride of  Off-road motorcycle tours in Nepal. From Pokhara in a few hours, you will arrive at Mugling, continue riding on the same highway back to Kathmandu.
